In June 2022, Parakozm marked a key milestone in its journey toward technological innovation by participating in a blockchain technology competition hosted by Astana Hub in collaboration with Savabit. Out of nearly fifty competing teams, Parakozm secured second place, earning 1 million KZT in prize money for their impressive prototype — developed in less than two weeks.
The month-long challenge was designed to push boundaries in blockchain development. Teams collaborated closely with Savabit consultants, taking part in weekly Q&A sessions while building their minimum viable product (MVP). The competition drew over 160 submissions from software engineers across Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, reflecting the growing regional interest in blockchain innovation.
After rigorous evaluation, the Commission selected 41 teams to advance to the second phase. By the final round, only 10 teams had managed to produce a fully functional prototype. Parakozm’s team presented their blockchain app to the Savabit Commission on May 20, 2022, earning praise for their efficiency and technical creativity.
Following the evaluations, the organizers announced the winning teams, with Parakozm securing second place among strong contenders. The competition also recognized participants with certificates valued at 100,000 KZT each, in appreciation of their contribution to the event.
Organized under the “Home Mining” initiative, the Challenge Blockchain App competition underscored Astana Hub’s mission to nurture emerging talent in Central Asia’s technology landscape. Through its partnership with Savabit, the Hub provided a dynamic platform for collaboration, mentorship, and the development of practical blockchain applications. Astana Hub expressed its gratitude to Savabit for making the event possible and for supporting young innovators across the region.
